Two Huge Milestones!

Ok This is Chris,
Ashleigh is out of town on a retreat with the other ladies form Mosaic Church,
So it is Mr. Mom time.

The only instructions I got when she left was be sure to update the blog.
Cadence has been fed and bathed and put to bed so I will get this done,

Today was a great day.
Our family reached two monumental milestones of our time together.
First of all,
For the first ever, Cadence pee-peed in the potty!!!!

I got to give her a little encouragement

Cadence was a little emotional about it all!

Here is the evidence that my little baby is growing up! :(

We also got Cadence's decree of adoption in the mail a little later.
She is now officially little Miss Cadence Shae Andersen
We are now whole, nothing will ever split us apart!

I have never been so happy to get a piece of paper in my life!

See you all soon and don't worry about Cadence her Grammie arrives tomorrow!

Peace.

Chris - You are definitely one of the best "Mr. Mom's" I know! I think it is so funny that Shae says "Daddy" all day yet when you get home she calls you "Mommy." Thanks for documenting these HUGE milestones!

Ashleigh - love the hair... I realize it was the same hair in the nativity pics but I just noticed it (points to Em for noticing earlier). The "Andersen family picture" is adorable; you all look so happy!

Cadence Shae - No reason to cry on the potty big girl! Just tell Mommy you deserve a candy cane now...

I have to admit that this is the first time I've ever seen a picture of a toilet with pee-pee in it on the internet before. It's not that I go looking for these things but it's a great picture none the less! Congrats on your huge milestones. God is awesome!
