New Video

I walked in the other day and saw Cadence on the piano. I tried to tape her from the door without her noticing me but it didn't work. So, she became a clown in front of the camera and this is what it produced. Shae on the Piano  I hope you enjoy!

Bowling

Last night we took Cadence to the bowling alley. We had a friend, Kyndall, who was celebrating her 8th birthday so we all went to go bowling together. But of course before bowling, you have to play some arcade games, right?

She was great at this one tho, look at all those tickets!!

She had to carry her own ball.

In the end, she had the highest score of everyone on her lane!  She didn't really care tho. There was some soda, chili cheese fries and popcorn and that makes a good night in Cadence's world.

Oh yeah, and this car. We don't even know what it was supposed to do but she loved it and played in it most of the time. At one point she wanted me to get in it with her (into the backseat) to which I had to decline with the reason being that I'm too big to fit in the back seat. So, in typical Cadence fashion, she looked at me and with a super serious face said
 "Fine,  then get out."

Cadence and Uncle Robby

Cadence has the best uncles. She adores Luke, Shannon (shana) and Robby. When I was importing pictures from my camera, I came across these from Christmas that Cadence too of Robby and they made ma laugh.

This past weekend Em and Rob came over to go thru all of Cadence's baby clothes for Baby Jane and so of course, that meant plenty of fun time for Cadence with them. Here is a video of Robby teaching Cadence how to do a somersault.

New Years

This post is a little late but it's some pictures my mom took at New Years (because I didn't take any). We went out to Aunt Connies and had a bon fire. We cooked hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire. It was lots of fun but Cadence was way more interested in playing with all the dogs.

Aunt Connie gave her this little fairy outfit with wings and a skirt so she wore that around. She loves to play dress up at this point in her life and it's lots of fun to see what kind of outfit she comes up with  :)

New Years day Chris and I were trying very hard to get everything packed up to head home the next day. So, I laid out one outfit for Cadence to wear on Thursday (New Years Day) and one for traveling home on Friday and packed everything else up.

Well, after several potty outfits those outfits had both been used up by lunch time :(  Luckily, mom buys ahead outfits for Cadence and so she had this one hanging in the closet for her b-day. Cadence loved it because it had "slip-slops" on it. It makes me laugh because only in FL can you get away with this outfit on January 1st.
I love this outfit that she put together because it represents all sides of our family. The outfit from my mom. The bags from Chris' family, and the baby from the Palahnuks. Gotta love how many people love Cadence!!  oh yeah, and the sunglasses get worn lots now. she even comes back into the house when we're leaving to get her glasses. The other day she wore some to the post office because the sun was hurting her eyes which would be OK except it was completely overcast and raining :)  but she loves them so we tolerate them

Christmas Day Part 2 (see post below)

The second part of Christmas (with April and Emily) was lots of fun too. She still wanted to play with everything that was opened but by far, her favorite thing was the Snow White doll and dress from Kay Kay. Coming off of a Disney Trip and Sleeping Beauty the night before, she was all geared up for some princess stuff!!  and so she loved Snow White (even tho she calls her a snow man :)

Emily made us play games but April slept thru it

Here is the Snow White dress. Mom had gotten her the wand, crown and shoes that were also Snow White so the whole package was great. Even tho she might be one of the brownest Snow Whites around, we think she's beautiful!

Liz, this is for you and Shan.

This picture has become a yearly favorite of mine. It's a great way to see everything she got at once. Look how much she's grown over the past 3 Christmases.
