Some of my funnest times and best memories as a child were had at Aunt Connie's house. Aunt Connie had golf carts, horses, the creek, 3 wheelers, a pool, a trampoline, you name it - it was at Aunt Connie's house! Summer was the best. It usually involved a horse, some kind of parade around her big driveways, and lots of ridiculous stuff (including mud pies that were cooked on the air conditioner) On Sunday, Mom took the kids to spend the afternoon/evening at Aunt Connies. They had so much fun. The golf cart has been replaced with the Gator, but other than that, things are very much the same. I'm so glad because I want Cadence to grow up with the memories that I had as a kid and she is well on her way after yesterday!
Riding on the Gator - and they all got to drive it too!
The tractor and everybody (driving it) I love this picture of Tyler because you can just hear the motor sound that he's making by the expression on his face :)
There was a birthday celebration for Cadence which involved fancy new pj's and Candy Land Castle. I love that Cadence is eating a cheeto because Aunt Connie always had that kind of good food at her house too!
Riding Ginger the horse. Isaiah's quote about it was that he was "a real cowboy!"
On the playground at Hardee Park
and of course, fishing! Tyler talks about fish and fishing all the time so I knew he would be so excited to be out at Aunt Connies house where he could fish. When I saw this picture I knew that the word "dere" was in whatever he was talking about and pointing it. Probably something along the lines of "look at dat ting over dere" :)
Thanks Aunt Connie for all the fun! They all loved it and continue to tell stories about their time at Aunt Connie's house!

Aren't these pictures just the greatest!?! I think they're my favorite ones from all of the MANY albums Mom sent me from your week together - which by the way I have had so much fun looking at all the pictures! And videos!
I thought exactly the same things as you about their "Aunt Connie visit"... and don't you just love that first picture in front of the palmetto bush!!! I told Christa yesterday that while our childhood was super fun at Aunt Connie's house, it seems that GrandKids get the royal treatment! ;)
love the picture with the 3 of them and the fishing poles. looks like mayberry!
There may be nothing betterer than visiting family or friends who live in the country! I loved it when I was a kid and still do. What a treat for these kids.
Thinking I'd like to hang out at aunt connie's house:)
