Random Play pics

Cadence is really into sidewalk chalk right now. She colors everything she can with it. The car, the door, sidewalk, her babies, "shang" her legs, she loves it. Here she is working on a masterpiece.
This was the day we were rearranging her room and she "helped" by taking some of her toys outside.
playing with bubbles (another favorite)

We lotion Shae everyday and she has obviously learned the importance of it because she's passing on the daily ritual to Strawberry Shortcake.

the beach

So you can't go to FL without going to the beach. Thankfully, April lives very close to it so it's really convenient to get to for us. We had walked and played and sat for a while when mom decided that we needed to go for a walk (because she was cold) so we got up and realized that Cadence's diaper was VERY full. So mom, in all her grammie wisdom, decided we should just take it off and she could walk in her bloomers. April and I said that she would pee and sure enough.................peeinglooking at itfeeling very proud of herself

Pirated pics from April

If you look at April's blog you've seen these already but for those of you who don't look at all the "wilson"blogs.......we went to FL to go to a wedding of a really good friend from childhood. Cadence went with us to the wedding and stayed with a sitter during the ceremony and then came to the reception with us. Here are some of the pics of her in her dress that Aund April or "luke" took.

More from Florida

So, I'm finally updating again and realized I never even finished our FL trip. I'm such a slacker. So, in these pictures are people in our birth family. You have to realize that God has blessed us with the most incredible birth family on the planet. Chris and I are constantly amazed and blown away with the relationship we all have. It is exactly what we always imagined with adoption. So, since they were in FL, and we were too, we had to hook up. We all went to downtown Disney and had a great time riding the train, carousel, walking thru the shops, and listening to this really good choir while we ate ice cream.

A Melmo Easter

Cadence got her Easter stuff from FL family once we were in FL with Grammie and Papa. She got to open her basket "backie" twice because mom gave it to her in the car while we were driving to the hotel and then we repacked it to open it so mom could take pictures of her opening her easter stuff. She loved it both times. :)

The second time there was present too filled with stuff from GiGi, MiMi aka Aunt Debbie and Aunt Connie. As well as an additional present from Aunt April aka LUKEopening an egg filled with candy

Those are Elmo slippers that Grammie is showing her. trying to feed "melmo" an aminal cracker
grammie showing Shae that animal crackers are actually cookies

This webkinz pig makes Cadence very cool with the older kids in Mooresville and we didn't even know it.
This "dd" or DVD as the rest of the world would say, was from Aunt Debbie and we told her it was from Kagan's Mimi so everytime she wants to watch it she points at it and calls it "mimi" like that's the name of the DVD......you know like "pattycake" or "melmo" we also have one specifically called "mimi"

Fun with Kagan

Nothing like posting stuff over a week late, I know but here are some of the pictures of Kagan and Cadence playing.

These first ones are of them in the "pool" They had so much fun splashing and getting leaves in the water. The weather was great and Shae and I were very thankful for so much sun.

After all that playing, they needed some cantaloupe as a snack. And as Christa said it always tastes better in a wagon. :) Having a mcDonalds picnic.

I don't know why everyday things are so much fun but they just are..........especially at someone else's house.

Cadence loves this swing and gets in it everytime we go to Christa's even tho she's WAY to big for it now.

Christa always has snacks in fun places at her house. This time it was in the doorway eating marshmallows.

I have no idea why she liked the bucket on her head but it was her "hat"

Everyone Loves Candy!

Here is the next episode in our Easter weekend video. I feel that I should let you know that so far this is Saturday and not actually Easter Sunday. We really had fun with Cadence because she understands that we are doing special stuff and that we want to set aside this day as unique in our lives. Plus we had a lot of fun. I want to let you know that Cadence does all of her own stunts and that no animals were harmed during the production of this video.
