Airport Greeter

This is what Cadence did in the airport to entertain herself (and everyone who walked by) It's a strange reality for me to have a child who is an extrovert but that's just the way that God works.

Very Funny, a little mean, but VERY Funny

Apparently Cadence is bubblewrap-ophobic!

I already know what the comments will be and I agree. It is mean to make your kid cry (especially when it's early and she has the flu - but I didn't know that at the time) so save the comments unless you're also going to say that it's really FUNNY - because you know that it is

In the Airport

Coming home from Ohio we had major delays because of the snow. Thankfully, we had Emily with us and she was VERY helpful with entertaining a Cadence in an airport. However, Cadence did a pretty goo djob entertaining himself.

This is the snow that delayed us on the runways.

I got my camera back!!!

OK, now that I have my camera. The Ohio trip is old news However, theses are a few of my favorites from the weekend with our family.

Emily posing with Liz's flowers. Waiting on Liz to come in to see her surprise. Fun at the park (it was really alot of fun)
I find it's always important to have a picture of your child with a machine gun on her plane:)

Mom and Emily trying to balance on the see saw

Shannon smoked Liz on climbing over this chain thing - he should be on American GladiatorsAnd then we went to the candy shop which Cadence LOVED

Here we are all picking out our candy
Shae found hers!!

Still no Camera

So, no new pictures of the girl. Which is really a shame because she is full of personality this week. We went to starbucks yesterday because we were in Target and she tried once again to order a coke. I was embarrassed because she gets pretty demanding about it points her finger and everything the whole time persistently saying "I coke" She even added in "please" and the poor girl behind the counter felt really bad but I just took my mocha and left. ;)

Also, this has been a big couple of weeks with Chris and Mosaic. Last Monday was his first 412 service (which is our high school once a month gathering at the theatre) It went really well except I showed up 20 minutes late with the pizza and messed up the whole schedule - oops

and then on Sunday we kicked off "The Mix" which is a service specifically for Middle Schoolers that goes on during the 11:00 service. We had over 20 middle schoolers there which we were really excited about for it being the first one. It was lots of fun and we did worship with a band and then Chris preached and of course there was Guitar Hero because I'm almost convinced that you can't have youth group without it.

That's really all that's been going on in our worlds. Maybe Emily will mail us our camera and we can post pictures again because I know that's really the only reason you look at this blog

I don't have anything to post

Most of you know that we spent this past weekend in Ohio with my sister Elizabeth for her 30th birthday. However, I left my camera in one of Emily's bags which is why I'm behind on the posting of the events from it. For that reason, I'm going to just send you to Elizabeth's blog because she has done a great job documenting the weekend. As soon as I get my camera, we'll start again but Liz's will have to do for now. Her blog is I hope you enjoy!!

The playroom

This isn't the playroom but rather the refrigerator with all the magnets lined up by Miss Cadence herself. Is this a sign of something like OCD?
And here she is eating a fork. notice the dog pee spots on the floor.Aren't they attractive? I love Slang adn his unpredictable bladder. This is the playroom. Thanks to the Palahnuks for the tent that family of 5 could sleep in. She loves it and goes into it to watch "melmo Woovies" or Elmo Movies.

New Movie!!

Here's the latest video from the Andersen's!! I know it's a long time inbetween but maybe we'll get better at it.
