Family Photos 2014

After Caleb's graduation we took the kids out to a park to take some pictures of them - which is easier said than done! Thankfully, Chris is pretty good at capturing them well.

Here are some of our favorites...

Caleb's Preschool Graduation

It's so crazy to believe that this little man is graduating from preschool!!  He is such a reminder of how big our God is and all that He has done. Caleb is sometimes a tricky kid to parent. He loves big and fights big and celebrates big and tantrums big. For a little guy, everything he does is BIG!!  and so, to have him finish out a year of preschool and be prepared to go to Kindergarten is such a monumental thing in our world.

He's not the most focused guy in the bunch ;)

We are so proud of you, Caleb and can't wait to see what your next school years will hold!!!

April Phone Dump

April was a pretty busy month in the Andersen world but here are some other "favorites" that were captured along the way.

Creed shooting his bow and arrow at GiGi's house.

All the good and set up for our traditional Seder meal on Maundy Thursday.
One of our favorite nights of the year.

Charis and Caleb at the Spring Sing for Preschool.

Warmer weather means trips to some of our favorite parks to play!

Chris really likes his Spock Socks.

and this lego hand was pulled out of Creeds ear one night. I went to clean his ears and he said to be careful with the Lego in there. Excuse me?!?!   Sure enough, we looked in and saw it!
I love that the mix of 5 kids keeps our lives so entertaining :)

Crawfish Festival

Our next stop on the trek back to North Carolina from Texas was at a Crawfish Festival! We have never taken the kids to any type of fair so it was a "first" for all of us :)  We generally don't like carnie rides or spending ridiculous amounts of money to eat crappy unhealthy food. But after the week we had had, it seemed like a good idea, so we did!  lots of tickets were spent for a couple hours of a good time...

Chris and i are both terrified of Ferris Wheels but it was the only thing that everyone could do together so we got on it. and it really wasn't fun because we spent most of the time threatening the kids lives if they made the carriage move or shake. I'm pretty sure we passed our fear right on to the 5 little people that were with us!

everybody needs to drive cars and motorcycles at the fair…right?

well except cadence, who passed right on from driving to bull riding!!

and you can't go to a crawfish festival without eating crawfish!
So. We. Did.

and this picture was taken from the top of the Gulf of Mexico. So, i can officially say I've seen it from all sides and the Sarasota/Bradenton side is the most beautiful…at least in my opinion :)
